Join a group of global thought leaders, neuroscientists, stress mastery experts, Olympians, elite coaches and best-selling authors to discover the transformational tools available to take you from zero to hero.
Mental health and the lack of is shaking the society we live in and pretty much everyone I know is struggling with how to copy and function in this increasingly crazy world.
Imagine if there were ways in which we could master our minds and become the very best humans we can be?
Cipla stats one in five people burn out and it takes 3 years to recover, not 2 weeks at a spa.
What happens before you burn out, before you crash? And afterwards do you consider you are not broken you are just untrained and need capacity building?
Mind Matters Summit promises speakers and methodologies that will enable you to change your story and the most rebellious organ you have, your mind. What if the secret was in transformation, not just more information?
Kanchana Moodliar, Founder and CEO, Mind Matters Summit™ said at the pre-launch to the event “your brain changes based on what you focus on, what actions you take, what you repeat and how meaningful it is. Meaning comes from your stories you tell yourself about you own life. Wouldn’t it be good to unlock a new story?”
Small powerful changes take place over time and when you think about good things the better you can imagine good things happening. We are reminded that mental and emotional wellbeing are as important as physical wellbeing.
“The future you is not built in one giant leap”. If the future you could speak to you today what would you be saying?
As Tom Robbins wrote “ Today is tomorrow” . Think of your future you stepping up and taking the first steps, your future doesn’t start somewhere random, it starts now and now and now again.
Anxiety and mental health are issues being addressed much more than ever before and I often wonder what it would be like to be an elite performer without the dogged stress bunny and the air deflating anxiety that dooms my days. This is why I am very excited to attend and meet the people who are eager to transform themselves and their worlds.
Stress is the signal not the disease.
In the run up to the summit on the 29th October at the CTICC in Cape Town, there will be various events to introduce paradigm shifting practices.
MENTAL MASTERY WEEK: CAPE TOWN, 20–27 OCTOBER 2026
In the week before the Summit, Mind Matters and its partners are bringing a series of mental performance training sessions to Cape Town. Every activity has been chosen for its measurable neurological and physiological impact, not for its aesthetic appeal.
This is not a wellness retreat. It is a mental training programme with two specific outcomes:
1. To arrive at the Mind Matters Summit on 29 October with a nervous system primed for transformation
2. To get people to understand that they are not broken, they just need the skills and tools to deal with what is coming at them everyday”
The timing is deliberate: Mental Mastery Week also falls during Mental Wellbeing Month, and organisers say the goal is to build wider public awareness of practices that build genuine mental fitness. Both ticketed and free sessions will be available.
What to expect:
Daily meditation sessions with a community of like-minded people and expert teachers
Promenade walks and runs
Yoga
Gut-Biome Mastery
Mental Fitness Workshops
Breathwork sessions
Cold and Hot Contrast Therapy

What did it take to turn a prisoner into a president?
After the summit , on 30 October, something extraordinary will be launched from South Africa to the world. Mind Matters Summit, together with the Robben Island Museum, is curating a 2.5-hour live broadcast teaching the practices that create more peace, clarity and freedom in the mind.
Four global experts who each bring a different facet of mental mastery to the fore, will use ancient wisdom, neuroscience and life-changing techniques to move you into a new state of being to help Unslave Your Mind™. It’s time for more people to see a new future, one they never imagined for themselves. Created in the mind first.
The Time is NOW
The timing couldn’t be more relevant. The latest Ipsos Global Health Service Monitor ranks mental health as the world’s number one health concern, ahead of cancer. While the world searches for burnout solutions, Mind Matters focuses on prevention – built on neuroscience rather than wellness trends, teaching practical mental fitness skills that help people remain calm, focused and high-performing when the pressure is greatest.
“Most people are taught to manage their stress. We think that is the wrong goal. Stress is not the enemy. An untrained mind is. Mental fitness is exactly that – fitness. It can be built and it can be mastered, and the tools are no longer reserved for the few.” Kanchana Moodliar, Founder and CEO, Mind Matters Summit™
Individual tickets and corporate group packages for Mind Matters Summit 2026 are on sale now at www.mindmatters-summit.com. Group and corporate rates are available on request. Seats are limited.
Ed’s note: That’s a whole lot of mastery to look forward to. I’ll report back after the summit.
