First recorded in 2009 (so forgive me if you have already seen this) I was struck by the gentle harmony that the birds created – pitching their place on the wires to that of a musical score. Jarbas Agnelli is a Brazillian filmmaker and composer and he caused an absolute stir after getting an idea one morning after seeing a picture of birds on electrical wires. What sound would they make if they were musical notes, taken from a musical score? So he did just that; replaced the birds in the picture with musical notes and brought this exquisite melody to life.
It caused a sensation and Agnelli went on to speak at TedX Sao Paolo about his inspiration.
